I recently upgraded from iPhone X to the iPhone 16 Pro. The camera is awesome! But I’m wanting to set my exposure manually, and the native app only allows a couple of seconds.
My goal is to do some night photography, stars, etc. but I don’t want to spend $ if I don’t have to. If an app costs a few $ as a one time expense, I’m okay with that, but don’t want to have a subscription.
What are the best 3rd party apps for long exposure photos that are either free or a one time expense?
Thanks in advance!
Hey I just started using an iphone because i had no phone and my friend had a spare that they gave to me. I like taking photos of myself, landscapes and things and I am not usually satisfied by the default camera app on most phones. That being said i was used to being able to find a decent free alternative, but it seems every "free" alternative on the app store is actually paywalled (im not doing a free trial cause im gonna forget and then get charged 40 bucks). I have an iphone 8 i think and all i want is a camera app that will let me adjust the light intake so im not glowing like i just crawled out of a nuclear testing site.

Hi, very new to photography and I’m looking to upgrade from the base camera app on my iPhone 12 to something more feature rich. Any suggestions would be amazing thank you!
What camera app do you prefer? Stock, Halide, ProCamera, NOMO RAW, Lightroom, other?
Just curious what everyone likes for their camera app?
What’s the best camera app that lets you adjust shutter speed, aperture, and is in general better than apple’s default camera?
looking for a free can app for my 14 pro max. i need something which can control shutter speed (long exposure) and iso, while being able to shoot pro raw. the apps i've found don't harness the max potential of my device and every pic i take are significantly worse quality...
I’m wondering what out of this list, or others, is your favourite iPhone camera app and why?
ProCamera
ProShot
ProCam 8
Pro Camera by Moment
I feel like the factory camera photos doesn’t look great, especially for selfies.
My camera app on my iPhone 14 quit working. But the camera on Snapchat and other apps work. I’m looking for a camera app that is free, that will let me take pictures. Any suggestions?
I'm a professional photographer and almost always have a camera on me. However for the times I don't l'd love to have more control than the stock Apple camera. What are your favorite camera apps you've used?
Stock Camera app alternatives?
Hii, I am an amateur photographer and I want to try out a new Camera App for my IPhone 11. Can anyone recommend one. Atm I am looking into Moments Pro Camera.
Hi everyone! My girlfriend has got an iphone 10. She is likes to take pictures and add filters and stuff. Her birthday is coming up and I thought of giving her subscription to a nice camera app. I’d like to know of any suggestions you might have!
Halide is what you’re looking for. They push the iPhone cameras to new heights, and take their work very seriously.
Moment have a very functional manual camera app, that’s quite nicely laid out. Don’t know what it costs though, I think I’ve got legacy access from when it launched and I though additional lenses got my camera phone were a cool investment.
and more manual tools to take better photos
Im looking for a camera app that lets me control the shutter speed and doesnt leave a watermark in the video, ideally if it could record at 60fps that'd be sweet, is there an app like this? (for free i mean).
Hi, does anyone know of a free (no in app purchases, no subscriptions, no nothing paid) app that allows for manual settings for photos?
Every single one I tried is behind a paywall or a subscription these days, I only need white balance control, I find it so dumb having to purchase an app for that!
TIA
I'm in a search for a camera app that I can shoot with comfortably in auto when I casually want to snap pictures, band has raw and manual controls when I want to be precise. I have moment, pro cam 8 and obscura, but I feel the in auto mode they take worse photos than stock camera app. Do you have any recommendations?
