I've personally had both of those models and now my daily driver is the elete 10s. If you're in loud environments all of em aren't the best because they don't really isolate your voice from the background noise. You can still be heard clearly, there's just more noise on their end. But overall I've been happiest with the 10s. Unless you call audio snobs all the time really any of these will let you call just fine for average volume environments. Dears, which Jabra Elite earbuds would you recommend for good-quality calls? I mean business calls via MS Teams (Windows) and phone calls (iOS).
So far I've got Elite 65t that are rather average and I was just about to buy Elite 7 Pro that are (theoretically) great for calls but I found a lot of negative reviews, mainly here on Reddit (example below), so I'm a bit confused...

Both the Elite 8 and 10 received a software update that seemed to bump both up from average to very good.

I’m looking to get some new ear buds and Jabra is looking my way forward
Can anybody tell me me what sound quality is like, I will mainly be using these in the gym so need good volume and general quality
I’m thinking either the elite active 8 gen 2 or elite 10 gen 2
Would these be a good choice ?

I highly recommend the Jabra Elite 8 Active. I've had them since launch and they've been rock solid. Highly sweat and water resistant and has survived a variety of drops and other typical day-to-day abuse and still look new. Sound quality is excellent imo. I don't go to the gym but run outdoors and work in a busy office and the noise canceling and the volume more than adequate for my needs. Mics are pretty good too for phone calls and meetings making them great all around ear buds.
