So far I know of swappa, back market, gazelle and amazon. I just want to make the right choice between them. TIA. Btw I’m willing to spend $250-270 on a decent iPhone that will last a while.
I seen many iPhones on eBay but I don’t really understand like grade a b c. I’m just trying to purchase a phone for my little brother who is school.
Trying to get a refurb iPhone for 300-500 USD, 1st party refurbs are too expensive. I use Verizon and would prefer an iPhone 12 or newer.
What’s a reputable refurb site with low prices beside Amazon? Or is Amazon ok.
Going from 6, what would you recommend between the X and 13 range?
It’s been awhile since I have picked up a refurb. I wanted to post to see if I was missing some website or place.
I’m looking for an iPhone 14 Pro as a gift for my parent. I mainly wanted the best phone that still had lightening so I didn’t have to explain how all the new cords work.
I was thinking Best Buy or gazelle are the best places to look. Or eBay if I am really plugged into the seller.
Am I missing somewhere else where it would be good to pick up a refurb?
Sure Apple refurb is great but tbh I don’t want to spend that much as a gift for someone who def won’t appreciate it. Ha.
Been looking for a 15 pro max and wanted to see if anyone has purchased from Amazon, Apple refurbished site, backmarket, eBay etc.
My daughter wants one for Christmas. I've looked at BackMarket, Amazon, and Apple. I don't know of any other options really and figured this might be the best place to ask! Apple options are all higher priced. So far Backmarket seems like the best option.
Any feedback you think I need to consider or other options I should check out? TIA!
Is that a thing anymore? Back in the 2010s, I used to get them from Craigslist, Amazon or eBay. They were used but had a 3-5 years of life in them.
Hey guys, i am looking to buy an iphone 13 pro but I am not sure which company will be more reliable when it comes to refurbished phones. Both phones will cost around the same price at $560USD and i will trade in my 12 mini so i can get it for slightly cheaper. I just need advice because some people get it in pristine condition and some people get it with poor battery health and noticeable scratches. Which would be a better bet? Amazon or backmarket? Please share your experiences if you have any :)
I've always bought refurbished units from Apple, no complaints.
Now seeking advice about getting a refurbished iPhone from one of the big online tech resellers (not Amazon). They offer the same refurb models as Apple for a couple hundred bucks less.
Does Apple charge more solely because of the name-brand "experience" or is there a genuine benefit to buying from them (e.g., warranty) vs another vendor?
I am thinking to get a I15ProMax Refurbished. I don't know if Amazon would be the best or perhaps Best Buy open box option. Please share your experiences in anything similar.
There is some people that recommend to get the deals and have luck getting a nice phone refurbished but in general what would you do?
I heard also of backmarket but I think amazon and best buy sounds considerably better.
Hello! I have had the iphone 11 for about 3 years. It has 64 GB on it which has been really rough for me lately because apps are starting to take up more storage so I’ve deleted a lot of stuff. My battery has recently become super unreliable and my phone dies like 3-5 times a die without me using it very much. It sometimes turns off and on and it’s starting to become a little difficult to have an unreliable phone.
I don’t care about having a nice phone. I am debating getting a new phone with more storage or just getting a shop to replace this phones battery. I’m wondering what some of the best iPhones are that I could look into buying from Best Buy / Ebay.
My boyfriend has the iPhone 8 and it has a crap ton of storage and he recently replaced the battery and it’s been running great. Should I look for a used iPhone 8?
So: new phone? New battery? What phone? Thoughts? Am I the problem since my phones battery is fucked up?
Am I just looking for eBay?
With her own money, my teen daughter wants to buy a refurbished iPhone -- but I've never purchased a refurbished phone.
Is there a store you would recommend? (Evergreen Traders?) Is Marketplace reasonable? (I feel buying without knowing the phone history is a risk.)
Also, what would we need to inquire about beyond battery health before buying?
EDIT: Her phone plan is through Public.
(This isn't a proposal for an Apple-Android debate, btw. I prefer Android and gave my daughter a very old Galaxy as a first phone. Turns out a high majority of teens have iPhones and therefore communicate through iMessage. With an Android, my daughter isn't receiving group text messages and has been missing invites. We're just adapting to the reality and, unfortunately, switching to an iPhone seems to be a social requirement. It's a tough topic for an adult to reflect on.)
I’m looking to buy a restored to factory settings iPhone maybe a 8 or higher or what not used. It’s not meant to be a main phone where do poor people acquire them?
Does anyone know a non-sleazy store that sells refurbished iPhones?
I need an iPhone 13 or 14, the Pro or Pro Max version. Specifically one of those four models. It's for a work project so I need a store that can provide an invoice.
Thanks!
My iPhone XR has broken…. I want to upgrade and get one with a better camera but I still have a budget up to around £250. Does anyone have any recommendations of which iPhone to buy and a decent company to use?
I found that the XR doesn’t have a great camera and was quite slow. I have looked at CEX and Music Magpie but I’ve never used them before so I’m not sure what to expect!
I’ve tried to make my phones last by buying them new and taking care of them, but after a few years they basically just stop working well. Apps get slow or stop updating and even if the phone still looks fine, it starts to feel unusable.
So now I’m looking at refurbished phones as a middle ground, better than dropping a lot of money on a new one, but not as sketchy as buying used from a random person. Has anyone here bought from BackMarket, Reboxed, or Mozillion? Are they legit?
And how much should I actually care about the condition ratings?
