What are remote graphic designers?
What Does a Remote Graphic Designer Do?
Remote graphic designers do the same job as regular graphic designers; they create visual concepts to communicate a message that informs, inspires, or captivates customers. But instead of working in the office, remote graphic designers work from home or a different location of their choice that has a wi-fi connection. Remote graphic designers help organizations form their brand and express a particular identity or idea for promotional and advertising material. They are skilled in the manipulation of colors, shapes, fonts, images, photography, print design, logos, and animation, and may use computer software or draw by hand. Additionally, they collaborate with multimedia animators, artists, and other creative types to bring visual concepts to life. Examples of their work include layout and design for brochures, corporate reports, magazines, advertisements, and billboards. Some remote graphic designer positions require the employee to come into the office sometimes, while other jobs are entirely remote.

I've been looking for remote jobs and not much luck. I have bachelors in Illustration. Any ideas where to look for remote jobs?
I am trying to get myself ready for the harsh reality of finding a fully remote job in the US as a graphic designer/Production artist with 17+ years professional experience.I am also familiar with blender using it for 3D visualizations.
Sometimes I think maybe I should go after front end web dev ( I know a little bit of CSS and HTML) or learn Python and power BI and MySQL to get into Data Analysis
I don't know ,I would appreciate any guidance and advice.
Thank you in advance
Are there companies hiring graphic designers, remotely right now? I have been looking and applying on a lot of sites, linked in, glass door etc. but never get replies. I have been working part time (6 years experience in graphic design, illustration and motion graphics) whilst finishing my masters, but i want to look for a full time job when i finish. I have been applying to every job that i see but since i live in Europe, most remote jobs that actually pay good money. Also i notice that a lot of companies want the graphic designers to know coding, is this common? Where i live the basic pay is around 30k - 35k whereas in the usa they pay a lot more some even go up to like 70k and more from the posts that i've seen. Any tips from people who have had similar experiences?
I’ve been searching everywhere. LinkedIn, Indeed, Fiverr, Upwork, even those random job boards people mention and everything says “entry-level” but somehow still wants 2 years of experience and every skill under the sun. I’m not into UI/UX or video editing, just graphic design: logos, branding, posters, that kind of work. I’ve got a portfolio, I’ve done 1 freelance gig, but I keep hitting walls. My portofolio might not be the best sure, but i believe it is enough for an entry level position.
Are there actually any remote, entry-level, graphic design jobs out there? Or at least paid internships that don’t require a fancy degree or living in a specific country?
If anyone’s been in the same boat or has tips, I’d really appreciate it.
