The box contains a present from Redream: an old rotary phone. Brandy uses the phone to call up Clara, who surprisingly answers. Even though she doesn't know who Brandy is, Clara sweetly tells her she's "got all the time in the world" to talk. The ambiguous ending is "bittersweet," as Black Mirror creator and "Hotel Reverie" writer Charlie Brooker told Tudum.
