Is anyone else experiencing major issues with the BMO mobile app? I checked the App Store reviews, and it looks like I’m not alone.
People (I am one of them) are constantly getting Error 199, login failures, and crashes. Some can’t even access their accounts without the app crashing multiple times. Others report delayed transaction notifications compared to other banks, and the app frequently lags or glitches.
BMO’s hasn’t even addressed this, but this has been happening for months. It’s wild that a major bank can’t maintain a functioning app. If you rely on this for banking, be prepared for frustration.
The last pushed App update was 2 months ago!!
Has anyone found a workaround, or is it time to switch banks?

TBH.. mine just started doing it last week. But it’s so frustrating. I can’t access any of my accounts, transfer money etc. It’s super inconvenient because I get paid in BMO but have payments coming out of a completely different bank. I can’t even send myself money and I can’t get into the bank during their hours. It’s enough to make me want to switch completely. Glad I’m not the only one.
