Definitely up there. I feel "household name" is super hard to quantify, even in just America alone. Like, would you call Joe Walsh a household name? Sure, he's very famous but outside of classic rock junkies how famous is he? He never had a "Boys of Summer", for example. But if he isn't a household name, I feel he could be up there. Even proud Eagles haters love Joe Walsh. I'm not American and love looking at the differences with things like this. Maybe Krist Noveselic could be? Like, he never pursued much fame post Nirvana so the average person probably wouldn't recognise him. More on reddit.com
