Bose Solo Series II vs. Bose Solo 5 - best sound
My personal review of the Bose Solo 5
Comparison of sound bars
installing bose solo (solo 5) under a 24" TV
The official bracket connects to the speaker with a common size of bolt. It’s maybe an M4 or M6. What I would do is get some aluminium L section from a hardware store and make a bracket to hang it from the VESA wall mounting holes on the back of the TV. I doubt you’ll find an off the shelf solution. They’re a nice little speaker but there was never much market for wall mounts and VESA hangers like the larger speaker bars.

So Costco has the sound bar series 2 on sale for 200 and the solo five is 280 at Walmart. Which one has the best sound for movies/TV in a small bedroom?
I brought the soundbar for $170 at Costco. One thing I can say that the Solo's biggest strength is in dialogue clarity. Music doesn't sound bad, I think it does a decent job but nothing compare to bose's other soundbars like the 700. The bar's volume is pretty loud but it depends on what source your using. It supports stereo and dolby digital which is suprising since the bar only contains two speakers inside of it. My main complaint is the volume level when watching blurays with Dolby digital. The max volume seems to sound really low to me when set the sound output on both my tv and xbox one to dolby digital. I decided to change the output to stereo on both devices and the volume seem to have increased. This was not a problem when watching through my direct tv service as the volume was really loud on there. 500 and 700 soundbars doesn't suffer this problem since both have very high volume levels. Sound quality is decent and it doesn't become distorted or muffled the more you increase the volume. This is made for small rooms such as bedrooms. Don't expect it to fill up medium to large size rooms because you will be disappointed. In general, it's a decent soundbar, but I wish its volume was bit higher. I think bose should have added adpatiq which it could help the bar on volume and sound quality
I'm looking at getting s Bose soundbar (cheaper ones and the 2 i have my eye on have a big discrepancy in price. I can't find enough information on them to decide so i thought i'd ask here if any body could get me details on which is better?

Hello Everyone.
I have a bose solo compact size soundbarthat was purchased from Costco. Its my understanding it is the same as solo 5, in terms of dimensions.
My 24" TV is installed on a desktop monitor stand so the TV is at an eye level when I am sitting on the kitchen counter. I am looking to install sound bar right under the 24" TV so when move the TV side to side, the sound bar will move with it
Is there a mount available for the solo/solo 5 that will fit my need? I've looked at amazon, pretty much everything I've seen there gets attached to the wall.
Any suggestions/tips ?
I am about to get one of these two for my pc. My display speaker sucks. Tried sony and they sucked.
The review I see for the 550 are not great to be honest but it sounded good at costco. I could not test the solo 2. Anyone have experiences with these?
