Hi there,
I’m using this BOSE 700 Soundbar bought brand new and just around 6 months old, the remote died recently and unable to get this back to normal, have tried changing the battery, rest, etc but still no any response, none of the buttons working, no lights and whatsoever.
Hope you can help me to find a better solution on this issue.

Anyone has a suggestion? My remote simply doesn't turn on, not a paring problem. No light at all. Changed batteries but no use. Is it just broken and I have to pay extra money?

In case the battery or batteries in your remote are low or have no power, replace them. Alkaline batteries are recommended over rechargeable batteries, which might output lower voltage.

They suddenly started happening yesterday for no reason. The remote wasn't dropped or anything. I also swapped complete new batteries to see if that could fix it but it didn't. This is exactly what happens.. Like usual when I pick up the remote all the lights light up.. but if I press any button, the three lights that you are seeing start turning on and off in a sequence and it gets stuck there. Once that sequence stops all the lights come up again and this goes on. I had this remote that came with the Bose 700 soundbar. Has anyone seen this happen? I couldn't find a solution anywhere!

My Bose 700 soundbar remote is only partially lighting up. The blue lens aren't lighting up at all anymore and some of the white leds aren't coming on either.
I've tried a number of high-power alkaline batteries, but nothing is working.
Anyone else have this issue? Know how to fix it?

Have you linked your soundbar to the Bose app? I noticed the remote was functional, but only a few lights were visible until we got everything set up in the app.

Did you already try removing the remote in the app and setting it up again? I had a similar problem once with my Soundbar 500 and the Soundbar Universal remote which is basically the same model.
