They could update it with smarter internals, something that has Bluetooth, AirPlay, SpotifyConnect, Google Cast, and compatibility with other streaming services. Loop it in with their other connected speakers, as bad as their software is. It would give a facelift to something old. People are nostalgic these days for things from the late 90’s and early 2000’s (probably because people my age want to relive the “good old days”). Give them an updated speaker from their childhood.
