I am planning to buy Britax one4life for our nanny's car during this holiday season. We have a toddler and would be using it as rear facing to begin with. Anyone currently using it or has experience with it in the past?
- how easy or difficult is the installation?
- is it a sturdy seat? I tried a less expensive option (safety first) initially and it did not last 6 months. It was disappointing to see that all the fabric came apart and the seat is unstable. Also, our nanny complains that the child is very uncomfortable in it.
- is it a good seat for a newborn in future?
- any other all-in-one seats that are comparable or greatly recommended?

I really like mine! It’s a bit heavy but easy to take apart to clean/install compared to the graco extend to fits I have.

We have the boulevard clicktight (which I believe is the older version of this). We’ve used it since my younger one was about 5 months old, she is 5.5 years now. The good: easy to install compared to other seats extremely sturdy: does not wobble AT ALL super comfy (according to my kid and the many, many naps she has had in it) lasts a long time; my six year old still fits just fine and probably will for several more months easy to change strap height the straps do not tangle (which is such a headache one some other car seats we have used) the “clicktight” feature is actually really nice and I find myself missing it when I use other seats The not so good: HEAVY: I cannot emphasize enough just how difficult it is to move this car seat around… it is SO HEAVY very wide making it difficult to put two side by side hard to clean; the crumbs in this thing… you can never get them all out. You think you do, but then you lift it up (which is hard to do, by the way) and you still hear them shaking around in there no cupholders Overall, though, they are really nice seats. My only advice is if you are traveling, just buy something cheap and light. Trust me, you do NOT want to carry these things through an airport.
