Thinking about using The Cabinet joint RTA cabinets, and working with one of their designers. Does anyone here have experience ? If so, how did it go?

They are a dealer for Conestoga cabinets which are top notch. I order from a different dealer. It may not answer 100% percent of your question but on the cabinet side the quality is phenomenal. I have ordered quite a few different door styles, wood species, and colors. All have been made well and finished. Assembly always went great. Clients have always been more that happy. Hope this helps some.

I used them and really liked them. Everything is pretty custom and I was able to build and install myself. 20k or so out the door. The only thing that I would do differently is choose a different finish. We went with a custom sherwin Williams color and the supposed tough as nails paint finish. My family took it as a challenge and the paint has chips here and there after a few years. It’s only gonna get worse in the future.

Ikea. Best deal and quality you will find for the price hands down. I have used them in 3 houses and nothing in the same price range even comes close. My parents had a local custom kitchen place make cabinets for them, and they used cheaper hardware, same particle board boxes and were more than 4 times the price.

Yeah cabinet joint looks great on instagram, but they stopped replying to my emails. Could not figure out why. Found this thread. Their about me page is weirdly super Christian conservative religious. I think I mentioned “my husband” or offered my social media to do a reel collab for hopefully a small discount, they do have a program setup for this, and they stopped communications immediately. I don’t need to see your weird pro-life insane Christian charities on a cabinet vendor website. Gross. Everyone should know about this. More on reddit.com

Hi r/Homeimprovement,
I am in the beginning planning stages of a kitchen remodel, and have become interested in RTA cabinets as I am handy enough to assemble them, but not willing to bite off the task of building my own from scratch. I'm looking for the best value, not necessarily the cheapest, and RTA seems like a viable candidate.
Have any of you worked with RTA cabinets in the past? If so, could you share some of your experiences?
Some questions I'd have are:

Who did you purchase from, and how was the quality?

What was your total cost of the project, not including countertops?

Were there any large "surprises" i.e. things that you assumed were included, difficulties in the project, etc...

What all came with your cabinets? Soft-close hinges? Hardware? Fasteners?
