Topper Recommendation
Help finding a new mattress topper for my mattress?
Mattress topper for Casper?
What's a good mattress topper for a hot sleeper? (with TL;DR)
Latex. You will still miss the sink for most part but 2' topper could work and they don't heat you up. Sleeponlatex is a good brand for them.
More on reddit.comIs the Casper Essential Mattress Topper machine washable?
This foam mattress topper is not washable, and we do not recommend removing the quilted knit cover. Instead, spot clean with mild detergent and air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.
Will the mattress topper help if I’m a hot sleeper?
Yes! Our mattress topper is designed with breathable, open-cell foam, which pushes heat away and keeps air circulating, making it perfect for hot sleepers who want to stay cool throughout the night
Can this topper improve the comfort of my current mattress?
Absolutely! Our mattress topper combines a responsive top layer with cradling memory foam to add extra softness and support, transforming your current mattress into a more comfortable dreamscape.

I have a Casper Original Hybrid and need a recommendation for a topper. Currently the bed is too firm for side sleeping but ok for back sleeping. I’ve tried a few options;
-
Zinus 1.5” foam topper: too soft for both positions but especially back sleeping and very hot.
-
Newentor dual topper: Medium and soft, had it on the soft side but made my bed firmer.
-
Casper topper: Also made my bed feel firmer.
Now I’m using the Endy topper with a thick quilted pad on top and a square of memory .75” foam in my shoulder area. The Endy topper on the soft side feels basically the same as my mattress so I may return it and go back to just the thick quilted topper which is still not enough. Any suggestions as to what I could try? I was thinking maybe just a 1” piece of foam could do it but I’m not sure.
Female, 5’4 and 143lbs, back and side sleeper. I can’t stick to one position. I’m mainly having issues with it being too firm for my shoulders.
I bought a quite expensive mattress that on the store floor felt incredibly comfortable (memory foam top with inner spring, so a hybrid). However, after taking it home, it never broke in the same as the store model (talking like six months of constant use), and remained way too firm for me.
I've fussed around with mattress toppers but ended up being disappointed in all of them. I thought maybe it'd be worth it to ask somewhere for advice before I go buying yet another topper; I do not have the money that is required to get a whole new mattress, and spending on toppers is a headache too. But I really need to figure this out, since I just gave up on my latest topper, and being back on the mattress directly is cutting down on my sleep tremendously.
Information; I am stuck side sleeping and have fibromyalgia/a lot ofchronic pain and an unstable pelvis plus SI joint problems (most of my sleeping pain comes from my hips and lower back). I am very happy with my pillow situation and the top half of my body is supported by that. My mattress itself is in working condition, albeit too firm for me, and my bed frame is metal slatted.
The mattress toppers I have tried are egg carton which ended up breaking down pretty quickly and becoming too soft, a generic two inch memory foam which didn't seem to make much difference, and then I switched to an all latex which worked for a while and then didn't... it's hard to describe but it got too sinky in a way that felt it was worsening my hip alignment and a weird push back sensation or something. Plus it slid EVERY night unlike the first two, to the point it was a huge headache. I am considering just getting one of those feather like duvet covers and seeing if that is enough but I don't know if that's the right call.
Any thoughts would be super appreciated, by my back and my wallet! Thanks so much
