I spent two hours looking for these and I keep winding up with side mounted slides. They cost $15-40 for each drawer. The metal rail inside the dresser is what measures 16” in length. This is the best/only result I’ve found
Is there an alternative solution I can use that will be easier to find and be more affordable?
I worry about side mounted slides not having a solid surface to attach to besides the bottom edges. Would the dual bottom edge mounted slides leave enough clearance?
Alternatives/suggestions/ideas? I’d like to keep the dresser and am expecting to budget $50-80 if needed but it look like it might be more.
I am new to the world of woodworking/carpentry, and my first project is a slide out shelf system for underneath the sink in our new house. I would like to use undermount slides, as they would work better than side mount with the vanity we have.
Does anyone know where I can find quality 16" undermount drawer slides? So far my Google searches have only yielded unheard of brands on Amazon, and I don't want to order some random chinese product on Amazon. I would prefer a reliable, known brand. But Home Depot and Lowes only has 20"+ length undermount slides.
