Because they're trash. I have several accounts including investment savings. And several times now they've been down, showing no balances in any including mobile banking. 'Welcoming' me to open an account. And when I call that service number you get the automated system that makes you jump through hoops to reach a foreign operator with broken English. So ridiculous. Chase is way better. Their CSRs know their products and policies so interactions are generally productive. BoA CSRs not so much and at least half the time I have to inform and clarify to them about their products (which leads me to hang up and call again). More on reddit.com

I’ve only had a couple of calls with them, nothing super complicated, but I found they’re nothing to write home about but no bad experience either. The ones that were the absolute worst was Citi. They made Chase look like Amex in that regard. Makes me want to avoid their products. More on reddit.com
