I'm in the USA.
I'm in US Mobile ( Verizon MVNO, but I could switch to the TMobile MVNO).
I would only need it less than a a couple of months until I get a new flagship. Then I'll keep it as a back up.
My requirements are: it is usable for web browsing, web browsing and Android Auto, at least 4gb ram, at least 64 gb storage, still receiving security updates.

Update: i got a Nokia c300 for $72 after taxes and shipping from swappa. I recognize it will probably be pretty slow but I only need it so I have something as I sell my current phone while the resale value is still high.

Unlocked; the moto g stylus is okay. Although it's $129. However you can get them a little cheaper ($99) if it's locked to a carrier like tracfone or total by Verizon.

Look man, I'm going to be brutally honest with you; 100$ won't get you A phone in 2023, let alone a good one; Sure, it'll get you e-waste like the likes of Samsung A12 & such, but you'll pretty much regret the Security updates... I've owned an A12, and you legit don't wanna touch it... Have a look at older but second hand phones, ANY Samsung phone from the S series, even be it the S10 series or the S20FE will last you more than an A12...

I only need it for calls and texts. Also, would buying an unlocked phone on Amazon be alright? I'm worried I might get a defective one or it might die/have problems after a few months (and I no way to print out a return label if I have to return it).

OnePlus Nord n20. OLED screen is really nice, great battery life, durable, slim profile, looks slick in a minimalist black case. I've been using it daily for about a year and a half. Incredible value. Plenty under $100 on eBay Edit: Just want to say, having an OLED screen makes this phone look a lot more expensive than it is. I'm not sure there are any options under $100 used with such a nice screen. If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of this phone! It's one of those purchases you make in life where you think to yourself "Damn, I did really well on this one!", and I paid $250 for mine.

Good evening,
I need to find a Verizon certified unlocked phone. My previous phone broke. I'm not willing to spend over 100 bucks. I spent 75 bucks on last phone. I don't do anything fancy. Text phone and some browsing youtube/internet.. I have a couple apps like uber and a few other ones. I don't play any games. I have ZERO knowledge of phones and technology in general. Unfornuately, I have to rely on others to help me. If you could give me a few suggestions, I would really appreciate it. I have pay as you go plan. I put 10 bucks on and it last 2 months.

Old Google Pixel (6 or older). Make sure it's the unlocked model and not the Verizon model. Verizon models have locked bootloaders which means you cant flash custom ROMs. There is no difference between them otherwise and the unlocked models work on Verizon

I'm looking for a phone for my mom, I currently don't have alot of money so I'm on a budget of $100. I've seen a couple of good ones that are in that budget the a10e, a13, and a51. But when I look online for the reviews I've heard a couple of bad things about them. I'm trying to find a decent phone for her but I'm unsure which one to get. Please give me your opinion.

decent budget smasnugs are at around 200\300$. i think you might have better luck buying used. you could try giving them your old phone, they value it (sort of) and then take that value off of the new phone's price

For $100 you're going to have to be really careful. I bought an A12, and it turned out to be landlocked to Korea. I was totally scammed, definitely you should be checking that IMEI when you go to buy a phone because there is a lot of sketchy behavior at that price point. Any A series is good; the newer the better of course. An older S series phone might be had for that price, but you may be looking at a phone that overheats or needs to have it's battery replaced... I would personally try to go for a newer mid-range than an older high-end due to things that can happen over time with the screen and battery.
