British chef's on-air 'mistake' sets social media ablaze: 'She’s just mucking about'
As an American, there are times when I have to put on subtitles while watching a British TV show, depending on how thick the accents are (looking at you, Love Island). Filet = Fill-it

Gnocchi = Knocky

Pasta = Pass-ta

Shallot = Shal-oht

There are tons of others I can’t remember rn, but they crack me up every episode.

Edit: Alright, since everyone here is from Scotland and claiming it’s just an accent, can you explain why he adds vowels/consonants to people’s names when he’s heard them correctly pronounced countless times? Would you give an American the same grace overseas? Probably not.
