Depends on how experienced/willing do a lot of modding to the case. Replacing the MB, CPU, RAM should be simple enough. Lots of LP coolers out there that should fit, and don't forget to check for RAM clearance with the cooler. Any SF size PSU should fit but the cables that come with the PSU might be too long to shove in that case so you might need custom length cables. The GPU will be a pain in the ass. You will need to replace the PCIE extension cable since the one in the case would be PCIE3. Also, you would need to find a 2-slot GPU that fits in the limited space provided by the case. I would also replace the top exhaust fan with something that has really good static pressure and low noise since you'll likely have to crank that fan to achieve adequate air flow through the system. r/Corsair on Reddit: Considering buying a used Corsair One Elite Pro Plus V1 (8700K, 1080Ti) for teardown and upgrading, because I love the case. Any tips or experience with this?
June 4, 2025 -

As title says, I'm considering buying a used Corsair One Elite Pro Plus V1(I think) with a 8700K and 1080Ti, for teardown and upgrading to newer components. Possibly replace motherboard, CPU, GPU, and PSU if nessecary. And maybe even swap from the radiators to air cooling instead. Does anyone have any experience and/or tips for this?

Corsair One Pro
As for the non-Pro Corsair One, the differences come in the graphics card, storage, and cooling. The non-Pro includes a GTX 1070 (as opposed to the Pro's GTX 1080), there's only liquid cooling on the CPU (whereas the Pro boasts CPU and GPU liquid cooling), and there's a 240GB SSD plus a 1TB hard ...

Corsair One Pro review: A Mighty Mouse PC for creatives (or gamers) - CNET
Corsair One Pro i200
Corsair has crammed a 14-core Core ... a little larger than a trash can Mac Pro. Thanks to a liquid cooling system, plus a fan pulling air out the top, it remains almost silent and the vented air never feels too hot. The Corsair One Pro i200 has a lesser $4,200 sibling, the ... I'm not one for naming inanimate objects, but from the moment I booted this little monster up, the Corsair One Pro has been my Mooncake: an utterly adorable, fire-breathing little planet killer of a desktop PC. It's not the fastest PC I've tested, but you can also fit about five Ones into the I've got on deck. Compare

Corsair One Pro Plus - GPU fan fluctuating - CORSAIR Pre-Built Systems Troubleshooting - Corsair Community
December 20, 2021 - Hi, my 2018 One Pro Plus has just started to have problems with the GPU (GTX 1080ti). Today the temperature/fan has been constantly fluctuating like crazy. On idle it's at around 47°/ 1560rpm and then the simplest of tasks it progressively reaches 90°/ 3000+ rpm.

This gaming company wants to invade the living room, and it’s got the HDMI-plus-USB output combo for virtual reality headsets literally front and center on the One.
