Your picture reminds me of when I first moved into my first solo apartment and had the same concerns! I just moved into a space where the living room is huge and the 63 inch couch doesn’t fill up the space at all. I also bought a tiny rectangular coffee table and my TV was only 40” so all in all, not much to fill the space with yet. I was thinking of getting additional seating and end tables to match the couch but I’m not sure what type of style would go with it? If anyone had any good links for chairs or things like that, I’d appreciate it!

as the title says-
sofa is too big for the living room. There is space behind the sofa where we are planning on putting a small dining table- the sofa does not fit anywhere else in the room as it’s such an awkward room.
I am an anxious person and need a lot to settle into somewhere new- just after some validation and advice on whether we should look for something smaller.
the TV will go to the left of the fireplace.
We wanted a bigger sofa as me and my partner are both professionals with tough jobs and love to nap. I also get migraines so need somewhere safe to pass out sometimes.
