Was wondering if anyone would be able to measure the deck width on a 42 inch Cub Cadet ZT1. I cant find one locally to measure and cant find any info online about how wide the actual mower is without the chute. Need to make sure I can get it thru my gate. Thanks.
I have a 1999 Cub Cadet Z54 zero turn mower. As you can see from the picture, my mower deck looks like Swiss cheese. I have been searching Craigslist and Facebook marketplace trying to find a new/used one, but have had no luck.
Anyone have any ideas for where I can look to find one? Or perhaps a mower deck from another model that might work?
Thank you.
I need to buy a zero turn mower for a ~2 acre yard that is uneven and patchy with a number of trees but not super hilly. There is a local Cub Cadet dealer that I like for service (had an old Cub Cadet rider for many years), but I am overwhelmed by the number of models available and the varying language. For example, on the same deck size ZT1 I see one model showing an AeroForce fabricated deck and another a continuous square 2 in. x 2 in. tubular steel frame. Are these basically the same thing, just gimmicky names? I've read that fabricated decks are better than stamped. Tentatively looking at a 46", but happy to advise on size and other brands/lines if folks want to weigh in.
