My completed Discipad mechanical number pad in all its glory. For the actual keyboard I decided to build what's called the Discipad. It is a 17-key wired numpad with USB Type-C and is programmable with custom firmware (more on that later). It also lets you solder all of the individual components to the PCB instead of just soldering a single controller board, so I effectively got to build my own Arduino on top of it all!

I looked through previous threads but didn't find what I was looking for. If I missed something, please let me know.
I built a less expensive custom numberpad to use for gaming while traveling. I decided I like it and want to build something better quality. The picture is my current build, a Keychron Q0 plus with red gateron g pro 2.0 switches and cherry profile pbt caps. I like the aluminum frame and decent weight, but it still feels a bit unstable while mashing buttons.
I've yet to find any boards or cases I really like all that much. The ones I've found are mostly 20% and a little too small. In particular, I like having the macro column on the left for all my modifiers. Does anyone have any suggestions for a slightly larger, good quality board and case?
