August 16, 2022 - I have four MacTigrs in our home. By far, it is my favorite keyboard. I like the feel of the keyboard for my work, and my family likes them also. As a reference, I have bought and used other DasKeyboards (5QS, X50Q, 4 Pro), Code V3, SteelSeries Apex Pro, Apple, Microsoft, Thinkpad, Logitech, and other mechanical/nonmechanical keyboards over 40+ years.

This thing is excellent, but if there were one thing I would change about this keyboard, it’s most certainly the giant thick cable that connects to my Mac.

Since I have a hub, and I’m not losing ports (but gaining better access to them), this is great. The weight is very solid, which helps keep the keyboard stable. It also has media buttons, which are helpful- though I don’t like the placement of the function key. Its in the opposite spot over where the MacBook Pro has it.

The keyboard costs over $200 and is completely dependent on its cable, so a braided or more premium option would have been more appropriate.

July 10, 2015 - The Cmd and Option keys are obviously included as with any Mac keyboard, which is great because as stated initially in this review - there is no remapping to be done or confusion to be had, and it simply works. I have seen many users of mechanical keyboards using a Windows designed keyboard with their Mac and while it can work, I am sure most would agree that it is just simply not ideal. With this Das, there is guaranteed functionality (supposedly) and it is redesigned with OS X in mind.

August 16, 2022 - The MacTigr has a short bounce time so combined with the 3.2mm travel, I can type as fast as I can on any Mac keyboard. The keys will take a light touch, and as far as noise, this is a mechanical keyboard that's on the quieter side.
