I have the i5 version of this laptop and I'd say this is definitely enough for your use case. I have used it for coding before and it's pretty solid and for gaming I'm even able to run valorant at 30fps on low. It can also run premiere pro for video editing so it's definitely a solid laptop. “ends up like this”. I watched the video with audio and I’m not clear on the problem. dGPU temp?
Laptop display is black and external display is an artifact filled Windows desktop. I think you pressed the switch display Fn button, and the normal (no artifacts) Windows desktop returned to the laptop display. You didn’t show the external display again in the video.
There’s so much white noise in the video, I can’t tell if any of the noise is the laptop fan.
What is the laptop service tag, so we can find the specs (dedicate GPU)?

decent. Some pros: decent ram size good keyboard decent port selection Some cons: awful screen pretty bad battery life relatively low performance your choice, honestly. If you can look for a 5420 or 5430 series on eBay, those won't resolve the screen problem but they'll be much better in terms of battery and performance.

Sorry for my grammar but i’ve ordered dell latitude 5400 online and I want your opinion or thoughts about it! The price is 14,999 php or 265 dollars.
Specs: i7 8th gen, 16gb ram, 512gb SSD
Plan to use: My purpose would be for coding since I am an college IT student. I also like casual gaming, I’m wondering if (outlast, League of legends, crossfire) can run on this laptop.

I have the i5 version of this laptop and I'd say this is definitely enough for your use case. I have used it for coding before and it's pretty solid and for gaming I'm even able to run valorant at 30fps on low. It can also run premiere pro for video editing so it's definitely a solid laptop.

That's a decent laptop and for your mentioned use cases it will run flawlessly except gaming as the Integrated Graphics in the laptop is very weak by modern standards. Looking at GPU system requirements for League of Legends , it recommends a Intel UHD Graphics 630 which is found on 9th gen laptops. Your i7 8th gen CPU in the Latitude 5400 has an Intel UHD Graphics 620. Looking at performance comparisons between UHD 620 and UHD 630, you can run League of Legends at reduced settings. By Outlast, do you mean the survival/horror game from 2013? That game will run without issues. I've played it on Intel 4th gen laptop and it ran well.
