February 16, 2023 -
Looks like another store is closed at Devonshire Mall - noticed it was closed with the paper over the windows. Anyone know what happened or if they’re just renovating.
That wing of the mall, has quite a few vacant spots already. Sad to see.

Windsor malls are a joke , the hours post Covid are also a joke. Tecumseh mall is like borderline an open concept seniors home and calling Windsor Crossing a “premium” outlet is offensive.

Started with Sears leaving unfortunately. The following podcast explains the history of malls and provides reasons why the loss of Sears was such a big deal. The Bay is also not the same as it used to be. This mall is in trouble. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWuh2VhkoRQ

r/windsorontario on Reddit: Stores close at 6pm?
September 7, 2022 -
We are new to Windsor and haven't gone to Devonshire mall after 5pm, always in the morning.
So today we wanted to do some Christmas shopping and arrived at 5:45pm.. turns out every store closed at 6pm.
We are used to big city times where mall's close at 9-10pm on Christmas. Is it always like that or was today a special day? Can you share your experience?

It's been that way for as long as I can remember and every year I also complain about it.

Devonshire Mall actually use to have holiday hours, which started when Santa Clause "arrived" at the mall, which was usually the 2nd weekend of December. When Covid hit, that all changed. This year, the 17th, the hours are extended and you can shop on that Saturday, until 8 p.m. Hopefully, in time, we can get back to where it use to be, with the full extended schedule and even the midnight madness again.

July 25, 2020 - Devonshire Mall has not informed any employees which stores have been infected and the mall has made no indication that they will be closed until further notice. Tenants have also not been notified that the other employees of the two stores have been tested and confirmed negative. This puts every patron and employee at the mall in grave danger of contracting COVID.
