Digital pianos, why always Yamaha/Roland?
Yamaha has the most accurate acoustic feeling (in my opinion obviously, and there is a wide range between models) and I feel like Roland is just a well known brand because of their speakers and stage pianos. I associate casio with entry level instruments usually sold through costco to parents who's kids have never played, I didn't think they made high end models. Kawaii makes nice pianos, but where I live I have never seen one for sale. I don't think ive ever even tried one. So I would assume they just dont have the same impact on the market. Same reason people aren't asking for korg or nord pianos. More on reddit.com

I work at a music store and when someone wants a digital piano pretty much always optes between Yamaha or Roland (specific model not needed).
From my experience Yamaha and Roland pianos seem kind of out of date comparing to Casio or even cheap NUX, not only in sound and samples quality but also in key response

The Roland FP90X has just about the best action on the market of any digital piano IMHO. We have a Yamaha grand as well, both my wife and I play. When we can’t play the grand, we gravitate to the Roland. In the end, the Roland is an outstanding instrument. Maybe that’s why so many people buy them.
