These stair would also work well around an outdoor dining table. You could also add a seat cushion to them to make them a little more cozy, especially if you are going to be lounging on your patio. September 16, 2025 - Identify the most attractive sides of the cedar pieces for your patio furniture. Look for imperfections as well as the tone of the wood so it matches the other sides. Mark the ‘bad’ side of the board, then drill two pocket holes on each end of the aprons (B & C) on this side. While you’re at it, drill pocket holes into the ends of the stretchers (E).
