Sounds like you need the Japanese futon life. No frame, so there’s no weight limit. Just two futons, when not in use you fold them and stack them. More on reddit.com

For anyone that stumbles across this post - I have a full size mattress on top of this Hemnes daybed frame and it works perfectly! Have been using this for at least 4 years daily.
