I've used Google Ads for the majority of my videos and while you're right about the algorithm angle, I've gained a substantial portion of my subscriber base through it. I think it depends a lot on the content you post. I'm a gaming channel focusing on FPS and once the hype window of a game's release or a new season's release passes, there's little chance a video will organically get picked up by the algorithm over the more established names. Hey guys,
I hope my post will not be deleted as usual :D . I just want to share with you my experience regarding Google ads. I've tried to boost the views for two of my videos form my channel by using google ads saying that this is way of reaching more audience, but guess what!? I successfully fckd up my score for this two videos and now are no longer seen as a good content by YouTube algorithm and let them behind. If you want my advice, do not use Google ads in any circumstances unless you don't know how to destroy your channel.

It's unfortunate that you have had that experience, but YouTube ads and Shorts are what are driving the majority of my subscribers right now, so I have to disagree with you telling people to never use ads. Even after using ads, I've still had one of my videos organically go "viral", so I don't think it completely trashes your "score" on your channel. It took me a few tests to get the right type of ad, so maybe you've got to do a few more tests before giving up on it. I also only use Discovery ads. I never use Pre-Roll, which I find drives a lot of useless views. Discovery ads however drive the majority of my new subscribers every month.
