So I have a quick question. When I initially looked this up, all the forum responses seem old so I'm not sure how relevant the information is.
I started a new job and for whatever reason, we are not allowed to add our work Google accounts to our personal devices. However, we can enable email notifications (I don't understand the logic of this, but whatever). I can't seem to find anywhere in Gmail that allows you to just add another inbox. So I thought I could find a loophole and download a different email app (outlook) and try to add my work email to the outlook account but it just made me go through the process of adding the account into my device.
Is there a work around that somebody can advise me on? To be honest, I just want to be able to use slack on my phone but I have to confirm the email address through the email on my phone.

They restrict you due to privacy and data protection reasons.

If you can avoid it, keep anything work off your personal PC or phone. It's just a way they try to get you to be available 24x7 without having to pay you anymore. They expect you'll look at the notifications on your personal phone and jump into them on your own time as needed.
