It's interesting many outlets focused on that claimed Pixel 6 Pro score. There are two results and the other one looks much more normal:
Pixel 6 Pro Geekbench #1; in the OP (Sept 10)
Cluster 1 4x @ 1.80 GHz Cluster 2 2x @ 2.25 GHz Cluster 3 2x @ 2.80 GHzPixel 6 Pro Geekbench #2; "Qualcomm" (Sept 9)
Cluster 1 4x @ 1.80 GHz Cluster 2 3x @ 2.42 GHz Cluster 3 1x @ 2.84 GHzI don't understand Geekbench well enough; does it actually profile frequencies and core counts or does it read from a some static table stored in the device OS? And where's the "CPU name" being read?
EDIT: XDA says they’ve peeked at the firmware and it is 2+2+4, at the above frequencies, but aren’t sure about the core architectures. Perhaps the “Qualcomm” is just that: a spoof of the SD888.
