I picked one of those up. The phone was in great condition on the front screen. Even came it's own screen protector and had the ability to get Pixel preferred care added to it. The only thing I did notice was a small scratch on the inside screen on the right panel and a slight dent on the left panel. It was hard to see it day to day. Unfortunately I bought the open box before the bestbuy sale so I paid 1500 which was the same price as a new one. I had the option to swap out for a new one given I already paid full price for it. Tldr give it a shot and you have 14 days to return it back to bestbuy if you find any issues or defects. More on reddit.com

i did not get it. got a px9 pro xl, almost new, but 2nd hand. got in touch with google support after trying to redeem the gemini offer and they told me original owner redeemed it so that's it.

I love tech. I have problems. 3 months ago I bought the fold 6. I like it but I don't love it. Biggest issue is camera and skinny front display. I don't game on my fold. I don't customize it. I don't use spen and I don't use dex. I feel like the pixel fold is the better device for me but for some reason I went with the samsung. Both are great phone.
I'm not that excited for fold 7. We know it's the fold se. We know it still hasn't 3x crappy zoom. And probably the samsung shutter lag. My bet is pixel 9 pro fold camera system will still beat the fold 7.
I'm going to buy a pixel fold 10 pro as well as we know it will have tensor g5 made by TSMC and have even better performance and battery. Plus 16 gb of ram. The fold 7 will have 12gb which is basically confirmed. Samsung seems to just be trickling features out. Sammy will have better trade in deals but google seems to be going the apple route and maintaining higher price points. Although google does offer better deals than Apple.

Pixel phones almost always have a Black Friday deal. I paid $900 for mine. There's no way I'd pay $1800 for it new or $1300 for it refurbished. Personally, I'd wait for the next big sale.

Bought directly from Amazon... Not from a reseller. Even had the tracking with Amazon and had to give a special code to get it from the Amazon driver, etc. All packaged up... the Amazon box was all sealed up, but the phone box was loose in the Amazon box, so I should have figured something was up.
The Pixel box was sealed, but those two tabs were re glued upside down... so knowing that now I would have realized it. Once I opened the box, it was a Pixel 6 staring back at me and not a Pixel 9 Pro XL :(
I resent it back to Amazon this morning. Hopefully I'll get my money back soon, but they won't give it back till they get their phone back and actually receive it.
So pissed! Anyone else have this happen with Amazon and a new Pixel phone? I'm hoping Amazon doesn't come back and say I swapped it out myself and screw me :( So bummed.
