I'll be in Denver later this month for a work trip, and going to fly in a couple of days early and spend the weekend with a girl I've been seeing. I definitely want to check out the Meow Wolf while I'm there as well. I'll be staying at another property for my work trip, so will only be staying at either the Thompson, Centric, or Grand for 2 days
Which hotel is more likely for an upgrade, or a better experience overall for a Globalist?

Just stayed at the Grand with my wife and two kids. Booked on a free night and was upgraded on NYE to a executive suite. They were going to put me in a VIP suite but I preferred the executive since it had a pull out for the kids. Breakfast was very good. I haven’t stayed at the other two, but the Thompson wasn’t considered since it didn’t have a pool for my kids.

Dan here mod for r/meowwolf , I live in Denver and work downtown. The grand Hyatt is mainly a convention hosting hotel, it's on the boring side of the CBD. I never recommend anyone stay there by choice unless it's a bargain. Especially on the weekend that are is dead. You didn't mention it but the Regency (near the city owned convention center) is much newer and in a more exciting part of downtown. I haven't been inside the Thompson but that's also an excellent location.
