if you mean you have water coming from the handle part of the shower (this is the mixing valve), then it needs removal and repair. could be anything wrong, but its usually the front seal on these cartridges. this unit looks like it has the diverter in the mixing handle, so the whole unit probably needs repair.
if you mean the water comes from a tub filler spout with a diverter valve in it (the little pull or twist handle that selects shower instead of tub filler), then the tub filler probably needs servicing or replacement. most of them are less costly than replacement parts for the same unit

In the product page you linked to, there's a link to a "Technical Product Information" PDF with what looks like pretty good diagrams and step-by-step instructions on how to remove and disassemble the diverter. That said, I've never worked on one like that, so I won't be much help beyond pointing that out. More on reddit.com

My tap in the bathroom has a pull up type diverter to change the water flow between filling the bath or going through the shower head. Recently, when I try to change from bath to shower, it does not do it completely, and I'd say half the water still goes through the bath nozzle, the other half going through the shower head.
I do not have any experience with this, but I'm assuming either the diverter valve is worn out failing, or it is the spring?
My question is, what would be the most likely culprit? The tap I have is a GROHE CONCETTO TWO-HANDLED BATH/SHOWER MIXER ½″.
I also can't seem to get the bottom of the tap off. There is a ring at the bottom that I just cannot remove, no matter what I try.

I picked up the phone and called hansgrohe's support line and explained my problem with a shower fixture more than ten years old. They sent me an entire new shower valve and some other pieces just in case they'd help. No charge. Might be worth trying.
