It pays well (some brutal truths are good) Not everyone comprehends data I have gotten a request from the CEO to build a dashboard with an audience that explicitly said offers them no value. How is a Data Analyst role different than Business Intelligence? Can anyone explain this simply? I'm a "business intelligence" senior analyst and I mostly work in Tableau and SQL. Rarely, python and R. I have no idea how I'm different than a data analyst

I'll use a sports analogy. BI is the box score. It's reads the transcript of what happened. Analytics is the color commentary/post-game recap. It tells the story of what happened. DS is the game plan for how to win the next game. These all exist together as a 3-way venn diagram rather than 3 separate circles.
