Got an email from Amazon Prime advising about some changes:
“As of April 8, 2022, the price of the annual Prime membership has increased from $79 to $99, plus applicable taxes. The new price will apply to your renewal on May 26, 2022.”
That’s 25.31% - Wow Amazon seriously? More than doubled the inflation rate.
What are you thoughts? Thinking in cancelling the service.

Cancelled mine. I’ll wait until they offer me a free trial and cancel again before it expires. They always do. Edit: Amazon Canada is garbage compared to the US as well. Things are often much more expensive on Amazon and the selection is minimal compared to brick and mortar stores now in my experience. It’s basically become ali baba without waiting 3-4 months for the cheap chinese product. Half the time I have to return it because it’s missing parts or doesn’t work as as advertised.
