Sorry if this is a dumb question or if I am missing something here. I was just recently charged the annual Amazon Prime membership fee, it came out to $150.47. According to Amazon, the membership is $139 a year. Why did I get charged more?

I just got charged $150 from Amazon for my annual fee! I thought it was $139. Jeff Bezos seems to be a modern robber baron. Prime is also charging $2.99 a month if you want to watch show ad free. Time to reassess
