Hi, I'm deciding upon buying the Elite 7 active.
I mostly need the earbuds for running where i will be streaming music from my Garmin Forerunner 745 watch. Currently I'm using Jaybird vista but they disconnect very often and sometimes won't reconnect. It makes me wonder if buying the elite 7 active fixes the problem or it will be the same. Has anyone had connectivity issues between the Elite 7 active and garmin watches?
Question in the title really. Looking about buying the Gramin forerunner 245 music but I've just seen reviews about Jabra's not being supported.
If the problem is just that you have to reconnect them every time I can deal with this but if they don't connect at all that's a different problem.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Yes, but if you wear your watch in your left hand wrist, you'll experience quite frequent chopping/stuttering as the right bud is the master actually receiving the transmission from your watch. Someone in their R&D were obviously sleeping as consumers bought smartwatches with music.
Same goes for the newly released elite active 75t.. (yes, a 2020 model advertised towards active people)
Other than the stuttering and dropouts, I have not experienced any compatibility issues at all.
If only the left bud could function as the master...
Hi u/ItsWillYeah - thanks for your question and for your interest in the Jabra Elite 65t. The Elite 65t is designed and engineered to provide sound quality for calls and music listening. It is optimized to be used with other Bluetooth devices such as smartphones and tablets. The use of a Jabra device with a smartwatch may not provide the best experience and is not officially supported. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
They will sync fine and play fine but then the next time I go to use them my 945 just says "Connecting to Jabra Elite Act".... ..."failed to connect to Jabra Elite Act". And my headphones say "no device connected".
If I delete the pairing from both my watch and my headphones and then re-pair they work fine, but then the next time I go to use them they again don't sync.
These same headphones pair perfectly with my phone and my tablet (and will re sync each time flawlessly).
Maybe related to my issue is: once after pairing and deleting a couple times I started listening to music and started my run then my watch asked if I wanted to add my Jabras as a footpod (while I was actively using them as headphones). I think the Active 65t have a built in cadence sensor, but I only want to use them as headphones. And everytime I add them I add them as headphones, not just as general sensors.
Any ideas on why they won't stay paired? Or what I can do about it?
I have exactly the same symptoms with a Vivoactive 3 Music and the 65t. Thanks for posting this. This would indicate to me that it is an issue between the Jabra and Garmin Bluetooth stacks. Can't say for sure which one is to blame though
I've just given up.

Hi
I seem to be having a problem with my watch. I have the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music and when I connect it to my earphones (Jabra Elite Active 65t) everything works fine, but the moment I bring up the activity menu (even without starting the activity), the bluetooth connection with the earphones drops out. Even worse, when I pair the earphones with my phone and play music from there, bringing up the activity menu on the watch drops the connection between the earphones and the phone, even if the watch is not paired with the phone!
Has anyone had the same issue and managed to fix it?
Hello, can I pair my Garmin forerunner 245 music with the Jabra elite active 45e earbuds?
