I recently got the Soundlink Flex speaker and wanted to connect it to my Pixel 7 (Android 14) but I can't get it to work. It shows up in the app and I can see the "Drag to Connect" option. Once I do it, I get the default "Pair & Connect" popup from Android, I tap on Pair and then it just gets stuck. It keeps repeating this.I can connect to the speaker as a regular bluetooth device but I thought connecting via the app would unlock some options like stereo mode if I ever want to use it with a second speaker.
I restarted my phone, removed the speaker from my device list, cleared the bluetooth device list on my speaker but nothing works.

Ok, I somehow got this to work (although its super buggy). I cleared everything (from the phone and the speaker) and then connected it like a regular device (for some reason the speaker shows up twice in the phone - Soundlink Flex and LE - Soundlink Flex). I chose the first option (since the second one was the one showing up when I first was trying to use the Connect app). That made it show up in the app but its still really difficult after restarting the device. I think I'll just use the regular way of pairing unless the case arises for using the "Party mode" etc.

Hallo. Zwar schon älter aber ich hatte auch das Problem mit dem Pixel 8Pro bzw. Android 14. Koppeln ja Bluetooth nein. Geholfen hat zufällig das verbinden im Partymodus mit einer (jüngeren Firmware 3*) zweiten Box. Danach konnte ich ohne Probleme neu verbinden. Scheinbar verschluckt sich der BT Chip. Das Problem besteht scheinbar auch nur bei Firmware 1.0. Mit iPhone 7 und 15 sofort und ohne Probleme. Hoffe ich konnte jemandem helfen.

You could play stereo mode without the app though. All you need today do is press & hold Volume Up and Bluetooth button on one speaker and Volume Down and Bluetooth button on the other speaker. After that it will say Party Mode, so all you need to do is press & hold Volume Up and Bluetooth button to go to stereo mode. I had to do this after my Bose Connect App stopped working for me. Also, sometimes the connection won’t sync between both speakers so just turn them both off and on and try the steps I provided again. More on reddit.com

The Bose Connect App sucks. I Expect More From Bose and they don't seem to give AF about sending such a POS app out into the market. Paid more than $700 for two Bluetooth speakers that sound pretty good, but most of the time the app drops one of the two speakers whenever I try to connect in stereo mode. Won't be buying Bose ever again, not because of sound quality but rather because of the crappy Connect app.

Totally agree. I spend more time trying to get the damn app to connect than I do listening to music. How can Bose release such crap for their outstanding speakers??!!

I think it was a cord issue...the main power cord. I moved it around a bit and all of a sudden the Bose app is telling me to finalize setup! I finally saw a new screen with all kinds of options! My Alexa music is connected and I can just say “Alexa” and the Bose speaker does what I say.
