The LCD isn't calculating anything. It just shows what iCUE sees. iCUE should be 1:1 accurate with HWINFO. They use similar methods to poll devices and sensors, where something mounted on the motherboard could be reporting directly from the sensor instead of going through whatever Windows service. The CPU Load% being inaccurate is weird though. I'll bring it up to our software team. More on reddit.com

Unfortunately no, the digital and physical connection is different. There will be a new LCD upgrade kit that leverages the same connection method as the LINK cooler (pogo pins and snaps) instead of the ones that ELITE CAPELLIX/LCD used (instead of the 8-pin + magnets). No, we didn't do this because RAWR CORSAIR GREEDY, but because we saw this as the perfect time to update the way these things clip together so we can smooth out some of the issues people have with the LCD and RGB module.
