Hi guys, just wanted to leave my positive feedback on the iFixit battery I ordered and installed on my device. Tools were very handy and online instructions are great. Battery life has been awesome, full day of work only 50% battery.
I’m so glad I did this, I actually gave up on my 6S last year and bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. Unfortunately Android still remais buggy when compared to iOS and I just couldn’t take it anymore. Although the AMOLED screen in the Xiaomi is superior in every way and the phone is actually faster, I just get so annoyed on a daily basis with the bugs that I decided to go back to my 128gb 6S. I’ve used it since November 2015 until last year so I’ve used iOS for the majority of my adult life (31). It still has a couple more years on it, I hope.

iFixit says that on their replacement batteries they do not support the battery health reading so it'll show up like that in the image. · The worn out original battery with shut down problem can be replaced by apple and the same shutdown issue should not occur once the battery has been replaced. · If the phone works fine I would not worry about the battery health feature.

I've got the exact answer for this case! · I have an iphone 6S and it showed that battery status 'SERVICE' and maximum capacity 39%, although I changed old battery to a new aftermarket battery(by Nohon). · Another NORMAL battery(Not showing 'SERVICE') can help this situation. · 1. just connect NORMAL battery · 2. turn on the iPhone · 3. check battery information (Not 'SERVICE') · 4. turn off · 5. connect NEW battery · 6. turn on / check battery info.
