I bought two of them and both have the same issue. The picture clearly shows one large panel. Posting for awareness. Hoping I can get a new part and not have to return the whole thing
Just what the title says, are the IKEA 2 drawer nightstands made of solid wood, manufactured wood or particle board? I bought one off FB marketplace for super cheap hoping to refinish. I got to sanding and it looks like particle board but the price is super heavy like solid wood. What gives?!
Hi, I assembled the hemnes two drawer nightstand and the and the drawer doesn't fit because it sits slightly at an angle. I have checked everywhere I can think to and it all seems level. Any ideas where I went wrong? Bottom drawer is the bigger issue - won't close at all

Hi there, I haven't assembled this particular nightstand but with kitchen cabinets you need to pay close attention to (besides everything) the drawer front plate you are using and runner placement. Reread the instructions, bor swap the drawer fronts. It is most likely an assembly mistake. I speak from experience, lol. Good luck.
I have these drawers and they close without issues. The top and bottom drawer are exactly the same size and rails mounts. My guess would be check the rails and check the drawer assembly again.
They're the first thing I've made that feel beautiful and I'm really proud of them.
Based on the Moon Fry nightstand from Foureyes with some fairly significant modifications. Walnut with brass pulls, finished in Natura Onecoat. Drawers are 1/2" baltic birch plywood with Blum undermount slides.
Most of the build went okay, other than 1) Having to remake one of the leg assemblies because I had the clamp in the wrong spot and it ended up with the wrong angle and 2) Had to remake a drawer front as I drilled through it from the back when attaching it. Also, I had to fight a lot with the drawer slides to get everything just right. And I need more practice gluing up mitered boxes. And gluing up flat panels.
Now that I think about it, lots of stuff went wrong. Woodworking is hard.
