Not really. Even theropods with relatively long forelimbs (megaraptorans, maniraporans, therizinisaurs, etc) or short hind limbs (spinosaurs) didn't go quadrupedal, optional or otherwise. On the contrary, many lineages went the opposite route of almost losing them completely (tyrannosaurs, abelisaurs). Most of the "normal" theropods in the franchise are already a compromise between movie monster and realistic (albeit outdated) depiction. That's explained away in-lore by the fact they're hybrids. Indominus, indoraptor and skorpios on the other hand don't have a drop of realism to them, they're full blown movie monsters.

Finding ‘Indo’ – how ILM made Fallen Kingdom’s Indoraptor a different dinosaur
July 13, 2018 - For on set, Neal Scanlan’s team built and puppeteered practical Indo pieces, while in CG, ILM worked on introducing twitches to the mentally unstable dino, which also had to have the ability to go from a biped to a quadruped. vfxblog sat down with ILM visual effects supervisors David Vickery and Alex Wuttke and animation supervisor Jance Rubinchik to talk through how they ‘found’ their Indoraptor character. David Vickery: Neal Scanlan and I kind of sat down right at the beginning and I said, ‘Look, I need you. We can’t do this right without creature effects. The actors need to have something to perform with. The camera needs to have something to react to.’ · Jance Rubinchik: You always get a more believable performance on the day when you have something real that the actors can play against.

What would the Indoraptor look like in real life? - Quora
Answer (1 of 2): All I can say for certain with indo-raptor (I use this spelling because “Indoraptor” means “thief or plunderer from India” which the animal decidedly is not) is that it’s too thin. That’s par for the course with the Jurassic series; it was pretty common in the 1990s to “shrink wr...

April 18, 2018 - There's undoubtedly more information that we're not party to yet, and we'll just have to wait and see what the press campaign for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom doles out before the film's release. What we have seen though is cause for alarm, as the Indoraptor is the next step in the evolution of what the Indominous Rex stood for.

Now rewatching fallen kingdom I figured out that yes in fact the indoraptor we see was a prototype it was the indominus Rex rebuilt with less bones and a different body structure trained to kill anything that had a red laser dot on it (Not my art)

Honestly all they needed was blues DNA that was it so I don't think the indoraptor was going to look that much different and it was mostly considered an incomplete prototype because it lack empathy even though he was a completely abused animal
