Ironically I just lost my Jabra Elite75t and went to use the location/tracking feature only for it to be 4 months old and said it was in a city 5 hours away... when I had it that morning and it was somewhere in the vehicle. Yikes

I vouched to never buy such dumb software implementation like this... and voila, they validated my thought process

I remember when I first got ahold a pair of 65t actives and was just bamboozled by how much better they were then everything back then ,

Then the 75t actives rolled out and then I thought I found the ultimate headphones . Was literally on cloud 9.

Never really tried the 85ts cause of all the reviews , the apparent bulkiness and the 75ts just felt timeless . Nonetheless, I thought this was simply personal preference, and or maybe just an anomaly ( in my head it couldn’t be possible that Jabra put out their next line and it turned out to be a step backward !?!)

But then the next way of randomly numbered headphones came out and

It just didn’t make sense , how the masters of sound just randomly transferred to any other random company more focused on pumping out random series in order to pump out more sales .

Why the hell did the GOATs start trending backwards 🥲?

Day 1 of Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2

I'm back Jabra! Absolutely love these earbuds!

I used to have a pair of elite active 75t (which I loved) I then had WF-1000XM4s. They, of course, had the battery drain issue and then my experience with their poor customer service have completely put me off Sony.

I think these are a huge upgrade. First off, the call quality is very good! I always found with the WF-1000XM4 that my close ones would complain that it was muffled and they couldn't hear me, but with these apparently it sounds as good as just calling regularly. Secondly, I think the noise cancelling is actually very good. It's not perfect but very good. And the sound quality I've found is a massive step up. The music is just clearer than the XM4. I'm a very happy bunny.

Slight concern was the battery, straight out the box they seemed like they were draining quickly (eek) but after a 2.5 hour charge they've been back up and running and haven't lost much charge at all.

Love it, love them, thank you Jabra for returning my faith in earbuds!

July 10, 2024 - On June 11, 2024, the company unveiled the last products in the Elite line, the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 and Elite 8 Active Gen 2. While both buds are one heck of a swan song, there is no guarantee of support lasting beyond 2024.

Downing the Shutters on an Elite Legacy—Jabra Elite Discontinued - Technowize
June 14, 2024 - Now, its marketing and sales over the next few months will determine just how much the discontinuation affects its business. Instead of slinking away quietly, GN decided to make a bold statement with the end of their Jabra flagship earbuds. The Elite 8 and Elite 10 earbuds were released to great reviews, and praise was almost instantly received for the sound quality and comfort.

April 19, 2018 - I have a Jabra Elite 75t which have been pretty good but are starting to be unreliable. What similar replacement buds have people gone for? I've looked at the current Jabra business ones but I have no idea how good they are for music and fitness as they don't appear to be designed for that any more.

r/Earbuds on Reddit: Jabra Elite 10 gen 2: still worth buying?
July 25, 2025 -

My question:

I'm looking for new earbuds/in-ears, because my current ones (Jabra Elite Active 65t) have lasted over 7 years and the battery life is now really poor. I also recently tried my girlfriend's AirPods Pro and was amazed by how much audio quality has improved.

Because of the comfort and the fact that they’ve lasted so long, I have a strong preference for the Jabra brand. Unfortunately, as most of you probably know, Jabra has stopped producing in-ears. A real shame.

Especially now that I’ve set my eyes on the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 – these are supposedly spectacularly good in-ears, but they haven’t been included in recent Tweakers best-buy lists because they’re no longer in production.

I can now buy a brand-new pair from a private seller who still has a new boxed set for €260. He doesn’t have an invoice (apparently he got them through a lottery or something), but he has shown that they are still unregistered for warranty. The price seems reasonable to me, given the original retail price (€279) and current unavailability (prices on Amazon and similar sites are above €330).

I'm tempted to buy them… but I’m still having last-minute doubts.

Will they still be fully covered under warranty by Jabra, even though I won’t have a receipt and Jabra has stopped production?

Is it even a good idea to buy these earbuds for that very reason?

Thanks for your advice!

I have a lot of great earbuds, and the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 are my favorite overall, even though they're not necessarily the best at any one thing (except comfort, where they are by far the most comfortable for me). They don't have the best sound but they're still among the best. They don't have the best ANC but they're still among the best. They are among the best in battery life, in case-pocketability, in style (I like the smooth sleek shape and soft rubber feel and choice of colors, compared to most other clunky robot-ear style buds). They are the kings of comfort and one of the last buds to have button controls, which is a big plus. Personally when they announced they were stopping production, I bought another couple sets plus two sets of Elite 8 Gen 2 (almost every color), because I will eventually lose or break or launder one and I'll be very sad when my last Jabra earbud is gone... (I did end up selling some when I came to my senses, so now I'm down to "only" 3 sets of 10gen2, 1 set of 8gen2, and one set of 8 Gen 1. You know, moderation). So I think it's worthwhile, especially if the set you're looking at is truly new in box. I wouldn't pay that much for a used set even if scarcity drives the demand up, but I think a new set is still worthwhile at or below the original one price. I have a stupid number of earbuds and I've never once needed tech support or warranty support on any of them, so I don't consider Jabra's market departure to pose a serious purchase risk. They have expressed that their plan is to continue supporting the Elite line for the lifetime of the products (or something like that), so you're probably OK either way. As for the lack of receipt, you may want to ask Jabra themselves, or post in the Jabra subreddit, about whether you'd need a receipt if you requested future support or warranty service. You register the earbuds through the app, and I don't remember having to submit a receipt at the time, but it's possible they do require a receipt at the time you request service/replacement? I don't know.

Elite 10 Gen 2 are great, but I suggest searching for gen 1 for cheaper, because they are essentially the same model, gen 2 having better transparency and transmitter mode and gen 1 having slightly better built quality of the case (probably, it is also color related, idk, I have soft white gen 2 and glossy black gen 1). Upd: And yes, I forgot to say they are the best earbuds I've tried UX-wise. The most convenient controls, the most reliable connectivity, the easiest to use app.

r/Jabra on Reddit: Jabra Elite 10 are absolutely the best out there
March 9, 2024 -

This sounds like a crazy claim for some people but just bear with me a little.

I have been used wireless earbuds since the very first Galaxy Buds which were released in 2019.. So it's been 5 years already and I went on and tried the following since:

  1. Galaxy Buds

  2. AirPods Pro Gen 1

  3. Galaxy Buds2

  4. Galaxy Buds2 Pro

  5. Beats Fit Pro

  6. AirPods Pro Gen 2

So I went I kept on going between Samsung and Apple which were absolutely fine honestly.. I still use my AirPods with Apple products and Beats Fit while working out... But the Elite 10s comfort level is truly amazing, I just tuned the equalizer a bit and the ANC is not mindblowing but very much acceptable.. I am not an audiophile but I use my earbuds all day long while working, walking, calling, podcasts, literally everywhere and all day.

For me the whole idea is about the comfort which I really did suffer from with most of these earbuds, ear fatigue was an issue with most of them and the ones which did not give me ear fatigue had ridiculous fit problems like the Galaxy Buds2 they literally fell off every 5 minutes..

Jabra has been doing this for too long and they are still a pioneer in this field, I have not experienced multipoint in earbuds (tried it with my WH1000XM4 which were also super uncomfortable for me) and it's a game changer.. Apple and Samsung have their multi device features exclusively for their ecosystems while companies like Jabra really do have a better implementation to be honest.. Especially for people that like to use devices from different manufacturers not just a single ecosystem.

Summary what I like about Elite 10s:

  • Very comfortable (can be worn easily for many hours, most important part for me)

  • Great sound quality

  • Good ANC/Hearthrough

  • Multipoint

  • Creative clickable touch controls (you can literally do anything with them)

  • Great app (many customizations can be done)

  • All basics covered such as reasonable battery life & wireless charging case

My only gripe is that I don't think the mic quality is the best out there... Some people complained that my voice does sound weird.

Keep it going Jabra!

I agree. I have a set of most of today's premium earbuds, and the Jabra Elite 10 are my daily drivers (although I'm really digging the Sennheiser TW4s at the moment). In terms of sound (music) alone, I prefer my Denon and Sennheiser and sometimes Technics, but the Jabra are pretty close, and still far better than most. In terms of ANC, nothing beats the Bose, but Jabra is up there in the very next tier alongside Sony and (surprisingly) the TW4. This seems to be a controversial point, so I think it depends a lot on how well the oval ear tips fit your ears and what kinds of noise cancelling you prioritize (e.g. low end vehicle/ambient noise vs. crowded restaurant chatter noise), and whether you prefer noise to be muffled like earplugs vs. filtered. I like earbuds that allow you to customize every button press, because sometimes I use just one earbud to listen to audiobooks, so I like the controls to be identical on either side. The only downside of the Jabras is you need both earbuds in to access the volume controls. But that's the case with most earbuds, other than a handful that have swipe up/down volume gestures. Overall though, these are my favorites because they're by far the most comfortable and the batteries last the longest of any others I use.

I could not agree more. Jabra Elite 10 has even replaced my over-ears. I would add that the absence of suction/pressure and the very small occlusion effect contribute to the unparalleled comfort. Put them in your ears and forget about them! That ANC and hearthrough are mediocre - I can easily live with that. I don't like being completely cut off from the outside world anyway, unless I'm on a plane. There is nothing wrong with the mic quality IMO.
