All the big department stores (JCPenney, Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc.) have high quality sheets at competitive prices. Lots of 100% cotton, OEKO-TEX stuff. I think it’s because the target consumer for quality bedding is more likely to shop there. People shopping at Walmart, Amazon, Marshall’s, etc. are missing out but you can’t change shopping habits. Try Feather and Stitch - it’s an Amazon brand. 100% cotton , they go on sale regularly. They are very much like my Frette sheets. I can barely tell a difference. More on reddit.com

Usually, it gets rebranded every couple of years. If it's not under Home Collection, try searching it under Home Essentials (replaced) or Home Expressions (current branding). Some JCP items even rebranded under Liz Claiborne. More on reddit.com

These Percale Sheets If you like crispy, easy to wrinkle but cool to sleep, these have been great for me. My dogs sleep on my bed but I haven’t noticed fur on the sheets. They were pricey, considering percale sheets used to be cheapest, but these days the cheap sheets are cotton/poly or 100% microfiber (aka polyester). I don’t t understand how people can sleep on polyester sheets but to each her own. Considering how hard it is to find 100% cotton percale sheets, I bit the bullet a few years ago and bought these. The colors suck but they’ve been incredibly durable and good as new 2+ years later. I typically wash weekly and line dry, weather permitting. They do, however, come out of the dryer super wrinkly, which is fine with me but you can definitely iron them, if that’s your preference. More on reddit.com
