I would like to purchase my first mill, but I am so frustrated that Komo and Mockmill are out of stock everywhere with long wait times.
Fine flour - any diff between KoMo and Mockmill?
Thinking of ordering a KoMo Mio from pleasant hill grain but…
Jammed my komo grain mill??!?
I don't want to wait months (Komo now says DECEMBER for an ETA!). I would prefer the Komo, but would be open to Mockmill. Any other websites besides PHG that might have them in stock?
I've seen good reviews on both these manufacturers, and both seem to do a good job with bread flour. I did see on one website (selling Mockmill) that the MM can grind finer flour than the KoMo Classic. So - does anyone have any experience comparing those two (or similar) for fine flour?
Decision paralysis has set in :)
I really want to make the purchase for a mill but it seems like everything is on back stock or pre-order. I’ve never ordered anything for back stock before and just completely nervous to invest on a mill and not know when I’m getting it. But on the other hand, I don’t want to wait until they are back in stock but have so many ordered to fulfill from pre-order that I end up in the same position. 🤡
So I’m just curious if anyone who does have a mill, pre-ordered it when they purchased and how long they had to wait. Was the ETA pretty accurate for the most part or did you have to wait longer or shorter?
I am open to other models but even the nutrimill harvest and mock mill 100 is on preorder too so if I had to pick it would be the Mio between the three but availability is very slim pickens.
To make it kind of worse I ordered a nice variety of wheat berries as I didn’t realize everything was for pre-order with the mills 😆 lol
Thanks in advance!
