More details on the changes are available in ChangeLog.txt and at https://github.com/lballabio/QuantLib-SWIG/milestone/27?closed=1. Upgrade to SWIG 4.2.x. This allows to use Python's limited API and thus reduce the number of official wheels to cover the same Python versions.

python QuantLib 1.11 and datetime · Issue #394 · lballabio/QuantLib
January 19, 2018 - When using the datetime and QuantLib (1.11) modules at the same time in Python 3.6, datetime becomes uncallable on its own. e.g.: from datetime import datetime from QuantLib import * datetime.now() ... However, datetime.datetime.now() is callable. This was not an issue in 1.10 - is this a bug or expected behaviour? ... Thanks for the report. Would you mind opening the issue at https://github.com/lballabio/QuantLib-SWIG/issues instead?
