My Coleman work boots are now soleless. The soles just fell off today. These had been sitting on the shelf for years, I finally needed them for some concrete work. The bottoms of the uppers where they attach to the sole are leather, they are stitched onto the uppers, but were only held to the soles with some sort of adhesive. The soles are labeled, "OIL RESISTANT." What is a really strong adhesive I can use to extend the life of my awesome work boots that will stick to these soles? Any suggestions?

Best glue for leather to rubber sole for sandals?
Hello! I do a lot of leather work, but I've never used glue. I had one of my combat boots repaired a month ago as the leather on the inside back of the heel had worn through, but the patch the shoeman glued in is already peeling off (I think he was not even with the glue) and giving me a hell of a blister. I wouldn't mind expanding my tool kit and learning this side of leather work, but I have no idea what kind of glue to use! The Tandy website has Ciano Lux Glue, Eco-Flo Leathercraft glue, and a variety of Contact Cements. Any tips would be appreciated!
