Go to a laundromat. They usually have machines that specify how many loads they hold. My husband uses a machine-washable weighted blanket. To make sure the weight (especially with the water) isn't too much for my washer, I go to a laundromat and use a machine that states it holds 6 loads of laundry. The laundromat I go to also has machines that claim to hold 8, 10, and 13 loads of laundry. Find a laundromat with the giant machines and wash it there. More on reddit.com

I am just wondering about replacing covers on the sacs. I just got one used and was curious about getting a new cover. Then I looked at the website and saw it was listed for like $550 dollars. I guess I mistakenly assumed the money would be in replacing the inside not the cover so much. Anyway is there is third party at all or something I am missing to make it more affordable? I don’t mind spending a couple hundred if necessary but that seems excessive.

I’m looking for a waterproof cover for an 8ft lovesac.
I’d prefer it to be lovesac brand but they don’t seem to offer them. I’m open to buying from a custom/mom and pop seller (Etsy?) if that’s a thing?

Hi, I’m sure this has been asked before but I looked through the questions for a bit and didn’t find anything specifically about this giant cover. I can’t see it fitting in a washing machine.

Ok, I ended up getting great results putting it in the bathtub with a little detergent and vinegar in lukewarm water and stepping on it and agitating it with my clean feet like it was grapes. Then drained the tub, did another clear rinse, drained the tub, spun it around a couple times to let more water drain out then put a blanket on my balcony and draped it on there to dry. Took about 2 days to completely dry but it is so soft and fluffy. I also brushed the fur with a denman brush and it got super soft
