It was working just fine a minute ago, but now it's suddenly stopped running. As you can see, it's full up on both water and power, but isn't producing either gas.

G'day, recently started doing a run with Mekanism, Create, and the Thermal mods alongside a space travel mod. I've been going through Mekanism by following the advancement screen, yet I've hit a speed bump with the Electrolytic Separator. I have an active pump, plenty of electricity, yet water doesn't seem to enter the machine. It's powered just fine, but won't do anything else.
Bit annoying, considering it's basically what I need to progress the mod, right?
I'm in 1.19.2, if anyone had a solution I'd appreciate it.
Cheers.
as title says, I have used Mekanism a lot and I have no clue what is wrong, I've checked Redstone signal, piping flow and input, nothing seems to work to get it to take water I have even tried putting water in manually and it just spits it back into my hand im playing ATM9 btw
I'm on velhelsia 2 and did everything right but no oxygen or nitrogen in filling up in the separator, it has power and is hooked up to an electric pump, does anyone know how to fix this bug or am I screwed.
Ok, I'm discovering the mod for the first time and followed a tutorial, but for the part where we need a tube or conduit for gas to get out of the Electrolytic Separator (I want Oxygen in my Purification chamber), none of tubes connect to the machine, I even tried from the bottom, from the top, nothing, I then switched to EnderIO Gas Conduits, they seem to connect fine but do not output anything to anywhere, even to a basic gas tank, I even tried putting the basic gas tank directly next to the Electrolytic separator without any results of any kind, nothing wants to go out of there, there's no interface on the electrolytic separator to configure what goes in and out and where it should go either. Did I forget something. I'm using a customized version of FTB IE in Normal Mode.
Could it be that you didn't select proper output side in the Electrolytic separator? Also, Mekanism machines are so side sensitive, you might want to google which side by default is the output.
Ok, so the electrolytic separator only accepts fluids through the left and the right, the machine should have a square texture on either side. Mekanism 9 is bugged right now in you can't clear fluids so you would have to select sides appropriately. Additionally, the output is only available through the front.

I've got the electrolytic separator set up for 3x ore mining (connected to an auto miner via entangleporter). All of a sudden my ore processing started chugging, and tracked it down to this. Every other machine has full energy, but the electrolytic separator and the lack of oxygen is obviously slowing ore down to a crawl. The wires should be good enough to power it with the 128kJ/t so I have no idea what the issue is.
Hello, I'm having problems in the latest ATM9 trying to power up my mekanism setup. I have an energy cube that is filling up from 3 heat generators (no problem there), but the energy Pipez pulling from it into the Separator can't keep up with it. I tried adding a basic upgrade to the pull part of the pipe (1000 FE/t) and it should be enough (all my machines are upgraded and only use about 12 FE, the separator needs 160 FE regardless of upgrades, and this happens even if all are disconnected or off). It seems to only be getting like a third of the energy required and running out of the energy buffer.
Maybe there's a bug or something I am unaware of? Almost sure that if I use universal cables this will work but I really wanted to work with Pipez for now...

I've got a sink going into an Electrolytic Separator using basic mechanical pipes. The Separator generate Oxygen and Hydrogen. The hydrogen goes into a gas burning generator using basic pressured tubes. The oxygen refuse to go into a purification chamber using basic pressured tubes.
Anybody knows why ?
The issue is "Not enough room in output" but I don't understand why
For some reason it seems like the Electrolytic Separators from Mekanism are infinitely draining energy even though what they're connected to doesn't further require any of the resource they're generating. The only time it doesn't is if I set both resources to "Idle" - but if I do this, I will run out of one or the other resource at some point, can I can't have that for the ore multiplying setup.
Anyone else run into this?
(My temporary solution has just been putting both Electrolytic Separators to react to redstone signal and using a switch to turn them off when I'm not using them :|)
Did you try the setting "dumping excess" setting?
Melanism uses a ton of power, but it can also generate a ton more. Take out some speed upgrades if you need to, but definitely start looking at a fission reactor as well. A pretty mundane one with a decent turbine will net you over 2.5m fe/t. And you're going to need the pellonium later down the line too. There's tons of helpful videos on setting up the reactor, and you're probably going to need to build an induction matrix if you haven't already to store all that power.
8 energy upgrades are supposed to cut a mekanism machine's power usage by 10, but for some reason the Electrolytic Separator isn't responding to this, requiring 120 rf/t no matter how many upgrades I put in. The internal capacity is getting bigger though. Is this an intended feature?
Hi There
I am trying to create gas for jetpecks on the Mekanism mod pack but the Electrolytic Separator is not doing anything. It has a steady supply of power and water but nothing is happening. The UI is showing power and water is getting to it but neither of the gas bars are billing up. Tried fiddeling with the dump settings but that has no effect.
Using Mekanism version 8.1.1.228 for MC 1.7.10, manually installed on an FTB Infinity 1.5.1 server.
Can anyone help at all?
Thanks
EDIT: Fixed by updating to 229. Thanks for the help all.
Oxygen can output fine, video seems self explanatory but automod wants to take down posts for lack of caption? whatever. Thank you!
So I've made a setup which pumps normal water into an electrolytic seperator but hydrogen gas isn't being generated, it just says empty, I have heaps of oxygen but no hydrogen at all. What can I do to fix this?
