After that, log in to account.microsoft.com, go to Subscriptions, find your Office 2016, click Install, and select the 32-bit version to download.

Yes, just go to setup.office.com to download the correct C2R online ~5mb set-up file.
This is the standard ONLINE installer.
But many people want the opposite. It is not easy to locate the offline files, especially if you want to install/update office on multiple devices.
Visit https://setup.office.com or https://account.microsoft.com/services, login and give it a try.
If it doesn't work, I can have a look for 64bit Pro Plus 2021 online installer.

Thank you for your detailed reply.
I reinstalled Windows 10 so Office doesn't exist on my PC.
Your link took me to Office 365.
The link makes me purchase Office on a monthly subscription.
I havent had a subscription all these years and didn't want to
go in that direction. I decided to purchase a boxed package
of Office 2016 with a DVD which has the software on it.
The box also contains another software key to use whenever
I need to reinstall Office 2016. It's a one-time purchase.
