Thank you very much for the hint on find support through chat. I just chatted with a live agent. Even though he/she was not able to help me because the support I was chatting with was not for business team. However, the agent was willing to contact his higher up office for me and the agent said someone would call me back. I hope this there will be someone call me back.
For this login issue, Microsoft business customer support is really bad. I don't know why Microsoft just does not let me talk to live person through the phone number they provided. If everything can be solved online, I would not call them. If I choose to call in, please give me an option to talk to someone.
I understand the Authenticator App is for more security reason, but the default login method should give me at least one more option to login if the Authenticator App is not available. (It does give me a click saying if I cannot use the Authenticator App, but on the next screen it requires a code from my Authenticator App. This is so funny that the App is not functioning and how can I get a code). I was forever looping around in the login screen and getting nowhere. I am thinking that there may be a setting somewhere in the account where I should have enabled a third login method while my Authenticator App was still working.
I hope this post will help someone not to fall into this issue which will make your business stop functioning.

In the search bar, type (without quotes) "agent support" and press Enter or click on Get Help. Ignore the search results, and click on the "Contact Support" button at the bottom. On the next page, select "Windows" and "Technical Support" from the drop-down lists, and then click on "Confirm". Next, select the chat "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" and on the next page, enter your (the one that works) email address and click on "Confirm". A chat window will open in a new tab. Wait for the operator to respond.
Note. The chat is available during business hours and on business days according to US time. Keep this in mind when contacting us.
